1. Plan the Spacing
Lay the bracelet flat and place the largest charms first. Space them along the chain before adding smaller pieces so one area does not become too heavy or crowded.
2. Twist the Jump Ring Open
Hold one side of the jump ring with each pair of pliers and twist the two sides in opposite directions. This preserves the round shape better than pulling the ring ends apart.
3. Add the Charm
Slide the charm and the selected bracelet link onto the open ring. Check that the charm faces outward before closing the ring, especially if the design has a clear front and back.
4. Close & Inspect
Twist the ring ends back together until they meet. Run through every attached charm and make sure there is no visible gap that could allow the charm to slip off.
